Between making Mel Gibson’s bed, fixing sports events, helping people find parking spaces and remote controls, and other mundane events, God just doesn’t have time to handle real problems. (Update: God is also busy calling Arkansas Gov. Huckabee on his cell phone during a Republican fundraiser. Of course, God has great timing.)
And yes, Wichita, Kansas, is on the world map yet again. A woman died during a screening of The Passion of the Christ, as you probably heard — it’s been reported in Reuters and thus made it in the news around the world. Even Al-Jazeera reported on it. Wichita hasn’t gotten this much attention since Operation Rescue was in town.
Why does our national attention always have to be related to Christianity?
