Let’s make bubbles while we can
January 16th, 1996I was in the kitchen with two other people. It was overcast outside. In a pot on the stove, the frosted rainbow marble stuff was liquid. It still had the same powdery stuff on it. Bubbles were beginning to rise from the bottom and we were using Easter egg wire holders to catch the bubbles. Some Pollyanna-ish chick kept chanting “Let’s make bubbles while we can.” They made lots of bubbles and I found a yellow streamer. It got darker and the people left. Then I was laying on the floor of the kitchen watching the news. A story came on that I had heard about before: a man had beheaded and dismembered his daughter. Then something came on about football and how Denver could “fake it all.”
