Smoking, Godard, and soldiers – a totalitarian dream
June 27th, 2000I was surrounded by four Japanese soldiers and four British soldiers. They were thought-police, rounding up people and herding them into a mall. Matt ran up the down escalator and escaped. Lael, smoking because he thought it was a Godard film, went invisible–literally–but he was still pushed into the “soft biology” wing where he was to work. Drew L. was herded into the sculpting wing. I was almost herded, but then I woke up with my alarm.
